We’re looking for someone to manage Aileron’s Instagram.
We’re looking for someone to manage Aileron’s Instagram.
Are you UK-based, currently completing your ATPL training, good with social media and looking for a flexible side gig?
Because, as anyone in ATPL training already knows, apparently aircraft don’t pay for themselves.
We’re looking for someone who understands the pilot world because they’re already in it
This is a flexible part-time role running on an initial trial period from September to December.
Pay: £100 per day
Time commitment: 1 day per week
Schedule: Flexible. You can split the work across the week around training, as long as the agreed content and engagement is completed. As long as the job gets done, we’re happy.
The role
You’ll help manage and grow the Aileron Instagram account, including:
• Commenting and engaging with relevant accounts every day
• Creating 3 Reels per week
• Posting regular Stories
• Replying to comments and engaging with our community
• Growing our following among pilots, trainees and aviation families
• Creating content that helps sell Aileron products
• Showing pilots how they can turn digital flight hours into a professionally printed logbook
Who we want to reach
Our first priority is the UK, followed by Europe.
We’re speaking to:
• Pilots in training
• Qualified and working pilots
• Parents and families of trainee pilots
• People looking for a gift for the pilot in their life
• Pilots whose entire career currently exists inside an app and probably deserves a slightly better retirement plan
What we want to achieve
Grow the Aileron Instagram community.
Sell more Aileron Pilot Logbooks and aviation products.
Help more pilots discover that their digital flight hours can be printed and bound into a personalised logbook.
And create content pilots actually want to watch, rather than another Reel of an aircraft taking off with dramatic music over it.
Although, admittedly, those do quite well.
Interested?
Send us an email telling us a little about yourself, where you are in your training and what experience you have with social media.
Bonus points if your camera roll is already 70% aircraft.
